Design Details

This home was designed for a widow that wanted to realize her perfect nest in the sky. It is a world of her own inspired by her taste, travel, and imagination. To make her vision become reality, MMB looked at every facet of her life, where she traveled, how she presented herself, how she entertained - how she lived. The entire home was inspired by glamour and thoughtful installation for all her lifelong collections.

This home features an elegant entry – one to be used as a lounge, not just a space to pass through – as well as a mirrored dressing room and closets.

Some of the homeowner’s marble sculptures were so heavy MMB had to design the rooms around locations where the floor could support them. MMB was involved in the structure and design of every inch of this home. The home also incorporates duel 11' screens that live in the lid of the living room, along with their projectors.

Furniture and Art Details

The Living Room Macassar walls are made from one single tree.

The homeowner owned a warehouse of Art Deco antiques collected over a decade that MMB was able to pick from. The team then folded in more antiques that were sourced together with Bespoke furniture. All the rugs in the home are Tai Ping, which were hand-drawn by MMB interior designer, Matthew Boland.
